3. Data Protection Officer (DPO) 

  1. Under Article 37 of GDPR, a Data Protection Officer must be appointed where an organisation processes personal data at large scale, or processes special categories of data on a large scale.
  2. S.C. Nupsala EU S.R.L. has assessed its data processing activities. As a veterinary medicines wholesaler, We process professional contact data (veterinarians, pharmacists, and licensed distributors) and transactional data. We do not process special category personal data (as defined in Article 9 GDPR) relating to humans, nor do We process personal data at a scale that triggers mandatory DPO appointment under Article 37(1)(b) or (c) GDPR.
  3. Accordingly, We have determined that a DPO is not mandatory at this time. This assessment is reviewed annually or whenever Our processing activities change materially. All data protection enquiries should be directed to:
